The Arizona Coalition for Military Families and our planning partners invite representatives of the military, government and all sectors of the community to attend the 2010 Statewide Symposium in Support of Military Families on July 14th - 16th. This 3-day conference event will focus on best practices and cross-sector collaboration in support of the 625,000+ Active Duty, Guard, Reserve and Veteran families living throughout Arizona. This event promises to be informative, connective and experiential!


Statewide Symposium in Support of Military Families: Post-Symposium Faith-Based Track (PDF, 283 KB)    
Representatives of faith-based communities throughout Arizona are invited to attend this one-day training focused on building Arizona’s capacity to serve, support and care for the 625,000+ military and veteran families living throughout Arizona. This training will include: 1) Knowledge of life cycle spirituality issues experienced by military and veteran families. 2) Skills for one-on-one spiritual care. 3) Practical approaches for engaging our faith-based communities in supporting military and veteran families. 4) Cross-sector networking opportunities for Chaplains and faith-based communities to connect in support of families.
